What a great idea for a Blog Bash. Count me in. I'm off to write my post.

What I know now about motherhood is that it's very unlikely that you will be the same person once you have kids. Motherhood is tiring, aging, sometimes agonizing, mentally stimulating, boring, amazing, exciting, incredibly warm and incredibly terrifying at times. There is nothing more joyful or more trying, and going through it is similar to going through other highly intense trials, you will be changed, you will bond strongly with some people close to you and be pushed away from others, you will still be a person other than just "mom", but different..for better or for worse.

I expected to just carry on with my life, bring my kids to the places I frequented and keep the friends I'd made. Now I know that I couldn't do that, and wouldn't want that. My children are the center of my life. I could never ask for anything better.

Yay! Thank you for offering a non-blogger option. Am very excited for the party!

As for what I know now about motherhood... While it comes easily to some, it's more complicated for others. It can be exhausting. Guilt and worry can overpower. It's important to keep focused on being a happy mommy - a happy mommy makes happy kids. laurachilton {at} hotmail {dot} com

The eldest of my three children will be graduating from high school this year. When she was little we were advised to start saving for college. Each week my husband would take a little bit out of his check and put it into an account for her. Even having done this, we were blown away with how much it costs to go to college these days. My youngest is in kindergarten and I now know that we'll have to set aside quite a bit more to plan for his college education.

...apparently I'm the only nonblogger into this. And the only thing that I know about motherhood after ten days is that even if I get 8 hours of sleep within a 24 hour period, I'm still wicked tired. And that's just from being home with my babybaby niece for these days. I can't imagine that plus the feeding.
